Sounds like it was a fantastic time. With all the seminars, did you have a chance to buy anything? :)

Yes I did buy quite a few! Some keepers, others are going on my site. So far I haven't dropped $1,200+++ for a paperweight, and I really don't intend to in the forseeable future. But it was very nice seeing those too! Plus at the banquet there were free paperweights for everyone! PCA2007 and JD cane on the base. Very nice gift from the club/Mr. Deacons.

Well the weights for my site gopaperweights.com are up there. Daniel Salazar, Ken Rosenfeld, and Mayauel Ward as well as a few vintage weights added to that gallery. The Ken Rosenfeld red lizard is my favorite of the lot and why I have it a bit pricey, it will take that to pry it from my hands.  :P
The 2 PCA 2007 weights I will try to provide pics here:

Hi All.

I too attended the Convention, as a speaker, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Lots to see and do, lots of weights to fondle and lust after. The dollar being in our favour, it was a good value for money trip too!  There were a couple of British makers present - Peter McDougall and Mike Hunter - and one dealer - Ray Metcalfe of Sweetbriar Gallery. Not many Brit attendees though: just me and Helen, and Zvi and Angela Klemer. Unless you count Angela B too.....!

I did see Peter McDougal there. Pretty sure there was atleast one dealer there from the UK also.
Oh and by the way I realize after my last post that I left out the measurements on the PCA weights.  ;D
2 1/4 inches wide X 1 3/4 inches tall.
