My piece posted here since 2004 has been id'd by Martyn K and now confirmed by Deborah.

The info she gives should seem to confirm this one too.

"Fladgate" is usually followed by a letter and the date (eg. Fladgate S'84)and the letter referred to where I had made the piece. The 'Bubble Vase' which you have probably has S for Seale (or maybe G for Greenside) and was one of my studio ranges for a few years. (You can just see the paperweight has S'85 the other side from Fladgate).

The individual/one-off pieces I sign "Deborah Fladgate" plus date and I am sending a quick scanned image (not a photo!) of a signature for you to see. In the year 2000 I signed "Deborah Fladgate G'2000" but other years it would be just '01 or '02 etc.

Deborah was born in Nicosia, Cyprus and identifies herself as British. She moved to Scotland in 1990. Her biography can be seen here

She has sent me a more detailed version in Word, if that is any use to you Frank.
