They may be powder bowls but a great many of the butter dishes from the table sets of the 1920s, 1930s  and 1940s (Amercian depression, US and European carnival and even Bagley) were exactly this style.

Not that I am aware of, Czech possibly RIEDEL SEEMS THE MOST LIKELY. anyone know if they have an archivist?
Btw we are now selling a few off in our factory shop '£19.95 EACH OR 3 PLUS AT £14.95. I will include P&P for any Glass message board members who want some. please ring our shop to order, we take credit cards! :)

Just to increase the possible date range,  >:D these are very similar in overall shape to a Stevens and Williams covered butter design that dates to around 1900.
