« on: February 15, 2007, 09:52:14 PM »
I am wondering if anyone can help me to identify this paperweight please.  It has a flat polished base.

Hello, this looks like a candle holder.
maybe a older for a lighter (depending on how big it is).
Erickson, Murano and others made this controlled bubble design, and is still being done.
Not sure how far you could go with an atribution.
Hope this helps.

Aahaa a candle holder I was wondering what the hole was for.  Yes a tealight or candle fits perfectly in the hole, probably too small for a lighter.  Thanks again.

Actually candle fits but tealight doesn't & hole is rather deep so I have a feeling it is a lighter base, seems more logical - thanks for your help
