strathearn paperweight signed

i have just acquired a strathearn paperweight it's 5" high and the design is called the " tropic " it has 8 oval cut facets on the side but it is signed on the base in script " strathearn 1979 no 24 " I've never seen one which is signed this way, has anyone else seen any?  click image for larger photo

Hi Ray,

A small number of Strathearn weights, of varying design, are known with script signing to the base. Sometimes with a date, sometimes with a 'design number', sometimes with both.

Check out Richard More's site (through either the ysartglass links or via my own pages) for some examples.
