Green Ceiling Lamp-Pulegoso
« on: March 02, 2016, 06:01:10 PM »

First, because I am new here, I would like to say Hallo to everyone.

After a googling several weeks I found this Forum (It seems to me here are many members with decent knowledge about Glass) and hopefully I will get some more information about this
Green Pulegoso Ceiling Lamp-Plafoniere.
Well, what I know for sure is that this Lamp was made about 1930-1932.
It was build in the house with four floors and house was finished in 1932.
There is no any sign at all of who was the manufacturer.
So, if someone have any idea about Lamp,Glass or manufacturer or another place  where I could ask about.
I am sure you would like to see more pictures. You can do it here:

Thank you for comments
Have a nice day

Welcome to the board.
It reminds me of Beranek Pulegoso (iirc) but I'm pretty sure someone will be along soon who can help you.  It's beautiful.

Wow, that is stunning! Fantastic. I want one ;D

If 1930s then just a little too early for Beranek, Venini were making pulegoso circa 1930. Lighting in general can be difficult to identify though.

mm,that company Samuel reich and Co - they did pulegoso.I wonder if it is too early for them as well?
But I also wonder about the colour - the colour is very 1930s green isn't it?  Reminds me a bit of the Schneider pieces as well.
Fabulous lampshade.

Apologies for the long link, some pictures of a Scarpa green Pulegoso vase for comparison, Venini may be worth contacting to see if they come back with anything...

Seguso Vetri D'Arte apparently also produced a similar shade of green pulegoso glass in the 1930s so that's another avenue to explore

I agree;Evan more difficult if it was made by order and not bought from production in the shop.
