Amethyst horse with gold mane
« on: February 26, 2007, 12:48:41 PM »
I think this little horse is charming - I have a little fish that also has these matt bronzey gold areas. The fish is not terribly nice, and I just put it away as a bit of stuff.

But the horse is rather nice, the amethyst glass is very streaky.  He stands about 5 ins 130 mm to top of his head.

I am assuming Murano (the shape of the head and the legs?).  Is he just generic or was anyone in particular using this bronzey gilding?

Thank you very much!

Could be Murano but there's an awful lot of Russian Murano horses about. Some of them are even called Russian Murano
