Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with the designer of this fish. It's heavy and sits on a stand with I believe aventurine inside. It does have a red label that says made in Murano Italy. I have attached a picture. Thanks for any information you may be able to assist me with.

Hi, a pic of the label would be helpful.

Hi,
Okay, I will attach a picture of the label. I hope the pictures are alright I have to make them smaller so it will accept them and I hope I am doing it right. lol
-
I am going to try this again, I think that one is to small.

Very hard to identify as to maker. We call that label a 'generic' Murano label as it could have been made by any company.
-
Hi, thanks for your help anyway I appreciate you trying.

HI
I would like to outline the techniques used in creating this piece. It is a combination of Sommerso and the Avventurine technique where the central piece has copper filings dispersed throughout a black ball of glass. Quite a difficult technique to master. As stated, the label is indeed generic but some furnaces to consider are Seguso, Laguna Murano and Formia but extremely difficult to pinpoint.

Hi Dean,
Thank you so much for the reply. I was wondering about that because it is so unique and I haven't been able to find one like it. I read up on the aventurine and thought that might be part of it but I knew there was something else involved. Again thank you, now I have somewhere to start.
