Title: I Know its Isle of Wight- But from Which Range??

I have an Isle of Wight Pedestal Paperweight, signed by Michael Harris, this much I do know, BUT can anyone help me identify which range it is from?? I'd like to accurately describe it for listing.

There is no "range" they are just paperweights. They are not that uncommon, ive had 5 now (kept 2) all signed by Michael Harris, Ive only ever had 2 different colours the purple shades and the green/blue shades, but ive seen them in pinks, reds and greens.
They often crop up on ebay also.

I've been watching e-bay for about 3months now since I got this one and must say I've not yet seen one thats been signed!! I'd be interested to see one go before I list mine LOL!

Not quite sure why it reached this sort of price as in reacent months they have only been going for around £30 to £40 each.
Its possibly that its pink and blue, but it may be the recent antiques roadshow episode which featured a signed Mdina sculpture which has raised the price ??
There normally is 1 or 2 listed at least each week.

I've been looking for a few months now to see if its worth listing mine, but not seen a single one, must be using the wrong search parameters!!!LOL! Ron Wheeler did tell me that they were worth about £60-£80 signed.

I'm afraid I can't add anything. I think Michael Harris did start, reluctantly, to sign a fair few bits of IoWSG early on, because of marketing purposes. A lot of Seaward bits are signed, as are many of these pedestalled paperweights. They are early, I believe.

The worth of the piece is only what someone will pay to be honest, valuations and book prices dont often meet actual prices especially when it comes to auctions
My first one sold for about £70 i think the second made £55 and the last one just £38. All sold on ebay and all in the same condition. But then the one in the link made over £100, personally it hink the appearence on antiques roadshow has a lot to do with the increased interest in Signed Michael harris pieces.
Colour variation does have a big influence on prices.
Something that sells for 99p one day can sell for £99 the next, such is ebay.

Errr, so how did he finish the pedestals? By adding another pedestal, and so on, etc. etc. ????
