Title: Art Nouveau (?) Threaded Perfume Bottle - French?
Post by: horochar on April 08, 2015, 04:45:24 PM
I'm hoping somebody could help me to identify this really nice perfume bottle.  I believe it is an older circa 1920s piece and not a more recent studio glass piece, but I'm not too knowledgeable about that area of collecting.

Sincerely,
Charles

HI Charles, this looks to me more new(er) - there are many many Studio Art glass artists. You can browse our Virtual Museum of perfume bottles (www.perfumebottles.org) to see if any remind you of this same style. There is a search engine, and a whole section of studio art glass, I also know a few collectors of new(er) pieces.

 Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Susan

this looks like a line of ware made by Poschinger Crystalwerks in Frauenau, Germany. it was their Fleur line designed by Martin Weinberger and produced in the 80's. check with the company, they're still in business.
