Title: Old Dump with Blue and Yellow column
Post by: Nemmie on February 23, 2013, 09:42:20 AM
Could anyone tell me what the middle of this dump is made of. Is it a sulphide?

Is it Victorian? Looks to have lots of wear and is 2 6/8 inches tall.

Any information would be helpful really. Many Thanks

Don't think so Chris.

Pretty sure this has some age to it.

not sulphide. some of the enamels I use in my work will give a similiar appearance when encased. They kind of "clump" up some.

Ok, thanks.

Not seen one like it before. Lots of bubbles in the glass and it has a blue tinge.

I think I will keep it for a while and see what turns up.

Thought it was maybe one of them 'blurred' single photo buys and you had thought  Mdina or MDG initially  ;D

LoL

I have made those kind of purchases but this wasn't one of them.

This one I bought in person in a charity shop because it was interesting.
