Title: Red & Amber Sommerso Vase - Label...

Bought this one years ago. It is listed in the 50's Glass Book as possibly Poli by SVdA but I don't believe so. It has the Vetro Artistico Veneziano Red & Gold Foil label. All of the pieces I have seen listed over the years have lost there label so I guess this will still be an unknown piece for years to come. The nearest I can come to on who may have made it is Archimede but that is just an assumption. Any other opinions?

I will put the dimensions up later once I find the ruler. One of my favourite sommerso pieces.

That's the best piece I've seen with that label. The ones I have are quite nondescript. In other words, not likely to be any Seguso, if the label is from one factory.

Thanks langhaugh. Hopefully we find more info on this label eventually. I think it will help us all out!
