Got this at a show today and can not find any examples of it. I have looked through maybe 1000 images and have seen anything even close to it. It measures about 8.5 inches tall, 8 inches in diameter at the mouth and 5 inches in diameter at the foot. some age wear to the base, which is ground flat and polished. Has a gold and silver small foil label on it. The label measures approx. 5/8 of and inch by 3/8 of an inch. Reminds me of early Beranek pieces..... Pics do not do it justice.... It is quite a striking piece of glass, and quite large.....
The glass color has a very light green tint to it. One pic with a flash and one without.... I am in a hotel room so pic quality is not what it normally would be....
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.....
TIA

Really nice vase, Craig. It was designed by Jaroslav Svoboda for Skrdlovice in 1970. The pattern number is 7038.

Thanks Anik.... I can not really find any pics of the vase anywhere.... Is it an uncommon piece.....??

Hi Craig,
You can find the vase in the 1974 Skrdlovice Glassexport catalogue here (https://picasaweb.google.com/104509467784289017506/SkrdloviceGlassexport1974?authkey=Gv1sRgCJKDnuTI7f-CvwE#5514558541709292994).
Because I haven't seen one available for purchase, I'd say it isn't a common piece. On the other hand I can't say if it's uncommon. :)

Thanks..... you are the best!!
I told Peggy that Anik would come on and tell me exactly what it is... ;D ;D

I have seen one for sale during the past two years, so I would say rather uncommon (compared for instance to Swoboda's blue-drip-decoration vases).
Very nice!

I have added much nicer pics of the piece now that I am home from the show. I have to say the more I study it, the more I like it....
