I was given 6 modern champagne flutes (clear, blue stem, clear base) without any branded packaging etc.
The onlu identifying mark I can find is a crowned S on the base, in which the crown looks like it could
also be a stylized 'M'.
It does not seemt o be Spiegelau (my first online find), whose crown is different.
This may not even be a 'good' brand, but without anything to go by...
I would be greatful if anyone could identify this mark for me..
see attachment.

Try search the board for Stuart - I'm sure we've seen this one before.

Thanks. I found Stuart earlier via Google, but the only mark I saw was a fully spelled name, so I dismissed that.
Will look through the board.

there are examples of the British factory Stuart having a single upper case S (as opposed to the name in full), but I'm not aware of that form to include a crown - it doesn't look like an M to me. If pushed, I'd say not British - perhaps German or Scandinavian - although I can't offer any proof as to why.
Welcome to the GMB by the way - hope someone will come along who might be able to help you :)

Pretty sure the mark is Spiegelau

I agree; it certainly seems pretty close to their modern logo
