In amongst the bulk lot of Scandi glass I bought at auction yesterday was this rather lovely bowl that I can't find in any of my books and hoping someone out there can help ID. It is a lovely opaque white with very feint turquoise decoration within the glass almost like graal. It is signed as shown which looks like Bjorn ------- then VH58 and Spirulex.

OH! new term! What is graal?
p.s. I spent hours on Sunday searching for Spirulex with no joy, be interesting if anyone can cast some light.

I'm hoping Bill Geary will pick up on it, he's the most likely to throw some light on my darkness.

Looks like "Bjorn Stern"?

That's what I thought too, Tony. :lol:
I have found one auction with his name in it;

No. 60. It is a dish pâte-de-verre 1993.
Just found this too:

Under the heading Patrick Seegers.

Della you're absolutely the Master googler.
"60 BJÖRN STERN, skål, egen verkstad 1993, pâte-de-verre, dekor 2500
means he ran his own workshop (Verkstad) in 1993; but I think it also means that he managed to stay out of the limelight, and 2500 Skr (182 pounds) is not an impressive price for a handmade skål in Konstglas.
