I think the seller of this paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=110858138545&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the gullible.

Clichy 'C' canes??? Dating to the 1940s???

But the seller does give, lower down in the description, additional comments about being informed that it might be a Chinese weight ... but also says that even if it is, it is still a very rare piece.
