I think the seller of this paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=110858138545&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the gullible.
Clichy 'C' canes??? Dating to the 1940s???

:P Looks like one of those Chinese Frenchmen.
-
But the seller does give, lower down in the description, additional comments about being informed that it might be a Chinese weight ... but also says that even if it is, it is still a very rare piece.
;D
-
Perhaps its rare because its the only one he's got£££££££££££££££££

omg someone has bid on it . right im off to local charity shop they have a few of these for 99p with a box
-
Just saw it was a private auction. Must protect the identities of the people who bid on these fine arts.
-
Too many people bidding on their own items.
