Hi All
I stupidly promised to post a photo of some of my Archimede Seguso collection.
Here is a 21 gun salute to the MAN. Not easy to photograph as a group and I think detracts from them individually.
I also have 6 table lamps and the bathroom set I showed before here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,36506.0.html and there is a set of 3 different size cornucopia vases.
Plus 4 pieces that are in the could be but not proven basket.
Still lots of collecting to do but less the general and more of the specific.
regards
Ardy

 Yum yum Ardy, many thanks for sharing, I admire your intention of SPECIFICALLY collecting Seguso- I could not- as has been noted on the MB before-so little time so much glass. Thanks again Carol

Thanks for all your kind comments. I suspect it will take me through to the end of this visit to Earth to get a few of the pieces I REALLY want.
The search is getting harder and that makes it more interesting. Must be a bit boring to have limitless dough and just go out and buy whatever you want regardless of cash so that you can fill a collection, wouldn't mind trying it once though.
The tough way most of us go is much more rewarding. My biggest mistake was not bidding high enough on a Ritorto a coste vase. Stupidly tried to get a bargain rather than a good price on a piece I wanted badly.
Forgot to include this one. I really should make a list of them.
regards to all

Beautiful ardy ...i especially like that huge green and blue shell bowl!
Did you find that blue vase after the green & amber piece?
-
Hi Kane - The blue and green shell bowl was my first A.S. buy and you are right I got the blue one after the green vase off ebay Australia for $30 including a label. Haven't seen anything good by AS that I wanted and was priced right since.
Just bought another AS cornucopia vase whilst we were in Tassie over the weekend. It is VERY large and the Mauve/bluey sort of colour. Will put it on tomorrow or the next day.
