Title: Perfume bottle and powder bowl - Archimede Seguso Sommerso
Post by: ardy on August 29, 2011, 10:37:19 PM
Hi All - just bought this from ebay has all the labels and stock number.

I knew it had some damage but I bought it anyway due to the unusual colours and I'm delighted with it. The seller let me have the bowl for an extra $20 as the top was broken off and I have just glued it back on with clear araldite. The dauber is missing the end which is nothing unusual.

Not worth anything but I do love having it.

Don't know if anyone is interested but I have attached a photo of the original purchase label from the bowl. Looks like Santa Anna but I am not sure. One of you may even know the store. If the label is of interest the mods can take a copy of it for the files.

regards

Thanks Martin - It takes time to find unusual AS pieces and if I see one I like I grab it as I may never see another one in my life. Missed a couple of pieces last year that I am kicking myself about.

Thanks Tami and Scavo. I have it sitting in my front room where the light comes through it in the morning. I should have waited and photographed it in natural light it looks even better.

This offsets the disappointment of the opalina piece I put on here a few weeks ago.
