Hi John, for someone who has specialized in Whitefriars glass for 10 years and dealt and dwelt a little too long on one thing maybe, no I didn't no it was a Milan Metelak piece for Harrachov first thoughts maybe Scandinavian? German? Czech maybe?
Not sure if I am puzzled or flattered by your reply? ;D

Chris, I was indulging the >:D and :chky: sides of my character.

There seem to be quite a few variations in this design including bowls but for some reason I can't find any bowls to link to at the moment (sods law - found them the other day).

Suspected as much John and there was me thinking, at last someone  realises, despite my frequent requests for assistance  on here, which incidentally are because I always strive to make my listing as honest and accurate as possible I do actually know a little bit about glass    :o
cheers and thanks again both for the positive ID

Not quite the same rim as my one but definitely looks like it is from the same range.  :hiclp:
