Does anybody know who made this please? It has a satin band around the ruffled edge and measures just over 7inches diameter across the top and 2 1/4 inches high.

Hi Hil, It looks to me like a Davidson posy vase, pattern 204c - have a look at Chris Stewart's site here and see what you think: http://www.cloudglass.com/Gallerypostwar.htm - scroll down and there's one in amethyst and another in black about a quarter-way down the page.

Although green is not listed as a known colour (with the ruffled edge) I think you are right.

Yes Christine, although my original photo's are not a very good colour match. I have tried to photograph them more accurately. Also the frog is very 'Davidson' and as far as I can tell, is original to the bowl.
