Title: Monart rare shape MG
Post by: Gary on December 10, 2012, 06:04:10 PM
Just back from local auction house with my latest purchase. In over six years of collecting Monart this is the only MG shape I have seen anywhere apart from the Monart catalogue. The dimensions are 23cm high, top is 12.5cm wide and the base 10.5cm wide.
Frank if would like some images for your web site just let me know.

Thanks flying free for your comments, the colourway is one of my favourite Monart  colour schemes.
The images are of two other  Monart pieces I purchased at the same sale. The first one was in the same lot as the MG vase, and has a large annealing crack, from the top to nearly half way down the vase, but still displays well.
The second is shape FA 9 inches tall, and was purchased for an extremely low price of £20.

ooh beautiful colours Gary,  I'm a huge fan of orange and blue together - that blue is like ink and love the shape of the orange.  Great purchases!
