This is something I've been meaning to post for a while as an ID request. I think I might have just found the answer while researching something else.
A range of glass vases + bowls with multicoloured swirls:

Some links to ebay items from this range in different colours:

If you look at all the pics + links, and get a feel for the glass, would you agree that they are all the same make as this one with a label?

If so, then they are all by Kamei Glass, of Osaka, Japan.

More examples? Possibly

They do seem to have the same kind of look about them don't they? I can't find much info about Kamei Glass online, but I did find this page about one of their designers, Kazuyo Hashimoto, although it looks like she was only there for two years:

They are not very well documented I concur. The amber vase is definitely Kamei - and identical on in another colur with label appeared on the local Ebay. The red/blue vase I assume is also Kamei because the patterns of triangles and the base are identical to the amber vase.

Interesting range so far, looks like they could give Chribska a run for their money!
Here's a labelled vase + bowl set, apparently 1950's:

I have one vase at home, bought it some years ago in the thrift store, and never could understand who did it. but now I think probably it is KAMEI?
-
More likely to be Chinese, I believe.

Not saying it is a Kamei Glass piece though.
But they did do this type of Glass though as per Wayne's pictures and similar the piece I saw the other week, which was more colourful like Yulia's piece.

I saw the same vase as mine on ebay, and it was called murano))
-
Does it have a label?
The link?
Ebay attributions are not worth anything unless it has a label...
-
I saw it last year. of course it's not murano.
I think probably Japanese.

I have a few pieces of Kamei that are labeled Kamei America. There was at least one US artist that designed for them and maybe more that I think develop things solely for the American market. I can't remember that artists name at this moment, but it may come to me. One of the pieces I had was similar in shape to one of those shown and had a lot of green aventurine in it. The one I have sitting in my display case at present looks more like a "tortoise" shell coloration.

please, show your vases)
I try to find any information about this company, and nothing!
are they still working?

Some more Kamei glass. This item is on Ebay but I got permission to bring the image across.
Dear meyross,
Hi Ross,
Thanks for taking the time to message me. Sure feel free to post the images there. I'd like to know more about this vase. If you could send me the link when it's up, I wouldn't mind reading it. Feel free to make an offer still, if you're interested.
Regards,
Miranda

Dear carpenters_collector,
Hello C-C,
I belong to a blog called the Glass Message Board where a wide variety of people help each other identify glass. As soon as Murano or Japanese items lose their paper marker - by far the most common form of marking it becomes almost impossible to identify them. What I would appreciate is your permission to put you Photograph of this great item up in an appropriate section of the blog. Our rules say that the owner's permission is required. I already have a number of nice Kamei items or I would be very tempted to try for this one. Hoping you are willing to give me the OK.
Ross

Sure Wayne, you can upload it and just put down ROSE. It has such amazing colors on it , doesn't it ?
Wayne -- Do you think this post *Click HERE (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,42110.0.html) is also Kamei? I just added a note/reason to that post there for you to see as why I think it is also. See that post......Thanks
Night...

Cheers Rose, it does indeed, and I think would easily be mistaken for Czech if not for the label. I had a look at your link, I think it could well be Kamei, hard to say for certain of course. It has some similarities to this one:

Now have two in my collection, one with a label. Both pretty much identical designs. The one on the right is 210mm tall x 185mm wide and 85mm deep. The other is 180mm x 155mm x 125mm. Does this help to clarify the manufacturer?
