Cut glass tray
The frosting, I think, looks like it has been painted on. Slight green tinge to the glass. The tray has been cut on the back and it has a frosted effect within the cutting on the back.

Any ideas please?
Thanks Tony.

Is it cut or etched, if the latter probably a transfer print. Dating 50's-60's

Just reads the other postings which I deleted as asked, you can get transfer prints where the ink is the etchant. Since around 1890.

It looks cut to me. The sides look like they've been cut too.
Here's a picture

I agree, cut coarsely and unpolished, not frosted.

Doh.
I think it's polished on the sides as I can see through it clearly. It must have been very cheap being unpolished but stylish for it's time. I presume it's a serving tray for drinks. Time for a test...

They were very popular in the 50's, I have quite a few by Pirelli.
