Oh yes Adam, David's been working hard on all this and has published his first book on Chance Glass already - Chance Expressions: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,18362.0.html and the second one is in the pipeline.

From top to bottom yours are: Sovereign Rose (1972); Regency Gold (1972); Gold Spray (1970) - this one is fairly uncommon; and the bottom one isn't Chance at all but one of the other slumped glass makers, don't know who though. It looks very 50s with those atomic swirls.  David might know more about it though. All the Chance facts above sourced from David's book Chance Expressions.

The one with blue flowers is Honeysuckle.

Nice to see you back Adam.

The handkerchief vase is the Cordon pattern in purple.

The last pattern is called Filigree.

The term 'Aqualux' should not really be used for the rolled-plate items, unless it is definitely from the 1939 range - trouble is, this range never really saw the light of day and disappeared soon after, making it extremely rare. I have yet to find a piece that is definitely Aqualux, but the search goes on. So this posy bowl could have been produced anytime from the mid-1960s right into the 1980s.

My new book, Chance Additions (see www.chanceglass.net), really does examine the Aqualux range in close detail now that catalogues have surfaced. Hopefully this will encourage people to know what to look for now  :X:

Your second piece is from the Summer range from 1968. Not often seen, but like most of the realistic floral design it is not very collectable.

Picked this trout tray up today (8½ x 5½ inches). Am I right in describing it as a tray?

Nope, I don't. But if I did I would call it a fish platter.  :chk
