Title: Old green uranium glass with clear stem
Post by: Penelope on January 18, 2013, 08:16:07 PM
The stems are about 6 1/4" high and the top of the bowls are about  1/4". The base is not flat meaning you can put your finger inside the stem. The bowl glows under UV light. A member asked about any wear to the underside of the base of the stems. I'm a non-collector and my valuation might be very different than another members. But to me, they look like they've been sitting in a glass cabinet on display for however old they are.

Circa 1890 to 1930, the rhine wine glasses from a glass service. No idea by whom - but nice to use  for sherry anyway.
