Title: Bohemian?

In my role as perpetual underbidder....I failed to win this interesting paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=120751159616&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg). A casual glance could lead one to say Murano - but I am sure that is wrong.  What does anyone reckon - an early Bohemian by Egermann?

Although JP's eBay images are not as sharp as I would like i  order to see the cane detail, the canes do appear to be the same as illustrated on pages 222/3 of Peter von Brackel's latest book. He places these in a section on a sub-set of weights that he suggests were probably made in the Egermann glassworks.

Yes, a fascinating and historically interesting, if rather untidy, weight.
