Title: Horse Ashtray - Is this a Murano piece?

Hello all

I was browsing at a second hand shop today and I saw this rather unusual piece. It looks like an ashtray with a horse? sitting on top. The base could well be uranium but am not 100% sure as I don't have the uv torch to check. I bought it anyway since it was quite cheap. It was over 20cm tall and quite a heavy piece.

I'm not a collector of this type of glass, but I bet it will look great with my other uranium glass. My question is, is this a Murano glass? Would love to hear more about this piece.

Unusual. Murano would seem a good bet to me.

I have a feeling it is Italian, but perhaps not from Murano. It may be one of the Arte Murano type creations.
