Title: Mold Blown "Organic" Design Glass Bottle Decanter
Post by: dorian_graye on September 16, 2012, 04:27:44 PM: I found this bottle or jug at a thrift store and picked it up because it was hand blown (pontil mark on bottom) and its organic or ergonomic design. I really don't know much about mold blown bottles or how to date them. It has seems running up the sides and I guess maybe this was blown into a sand mold? Maybe someone could enlighten me. The glass has a yellowish cast to it, so maybe this is some type of recycled glass. I'd like to get someone else's perspective. Thank you.
