I picked up this lovely pale green frosted bowl today at a Charity shop. Its a beautiful heavy shallow bowl I guess it was part of a cente rpiece. Any one have any idea who made it and what the figure would have been like ? .......Please :)

Sorry ...it might help if I had added the pictures...its the sunshine it's soooo hot here today. Its gone to my head :-[

I have one of these and a couple of plates, looks like a Sowerby 2549 Uranium Bowl Simba, not sure if it's a centrepiece or not.

Hi Jayne just found our bowl with a lady centrepiece at 20th Century Glass
-
That is the one Jayne showed. The 1940s catalogue just describe it a a bowl, so it probably wasn't specifically for a centrepiece

Thanks Simba, yes as Christine said, sold as a bowl but could be used as a centrepiece bowl.:)
