Title: Rippled glass (molten lava) vase - Whitefriars?
Post by: singingyamada on April 16, 2011, 07:47:18 AM
Saw this in the junk shop today

it is clear glass with a very very loose ripple effect on the sides.  All one piece,  It is 15cm high and 10 cm diameter top
The base has  a  circular crinkle pattern and a smooth concave base.  Someone ( an idiot decided to put a price sticker on it) and this all I am left with is a remnant silver and navy blue cirular sticker of origin

Looks a bit like a Whitefriars Wave-ribbed tumbler vase.  If it is, the sticker would be the blue and silver Whitefriars  pre-1963 export label, as seen on the base of this WF swan.
