Title: Czech vase, 1970's Scandi dish, blue vase, boot sale finds
Post by: BJB on September 10, 2006, 01:03:36 PM
Hi All,

these are some of my bootsale finds ( and two on the Murano board a lighter and a pear)

I think this is a Czech vase, very heavy thick glass with ribbing and frosting over the decoration.

This wonderful cheese dish has "Made in Norway" on the bottom of the teak plate. Can anyone help with who might have made it?

And finally this blue vase has the white stripes inside the blue. The pontil is ground and it is heavy but OH reckons TK Maxx! Any help

Thanks,

Barbara

Hi barbara,

I think your cheese dish may be Hadeland, Benny Motzfeld.

Hi Robbo,

Many thanks for the info, its a lovely shape, and the teak plate takes me back to when I was MUCH younger and everything was made out of it!
