Hi,
Ray Annenberg made a small batch of paperweights last year at the Aaronson Noon studio in Earls Court. He used some original Whitefriars canes and included canes on the underside of the button in the shape of an "A". This was done to ensure none could be passed off as original Whitefriars weights.
One of these weights has been kindly donated by Adam to contribute for a fund raising cause. The fund raising is to help the purchase of 13 Whitefriars moulds for the Harrow Museum.
I have uploaded some images and details here http://www.whitefriars.com/bb_orig/viewtopic.php?t=1879
All best wishes

I have moved Patrick's addtional post to the Market Place. Please see the renamed and reworded message (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,22456.0.html) for a link to two of the Ray Annenberg weights.
Hopefully, wider coverage can be gained in the Market Place and maybe it will also encourage other folk to think about buying paperweights. :)

I am working on a fundraising project for Wheaton Arts, and I am desperately in need of some loose Whitefriars millefiori/murrine canes. And I would be more than happy to donate to the Mould acquistion cause in order to get them. Please reply to addg[at]juno[dot]com

Hi,
Well the Ebay actions have finished.....................
The paperweight sold for 251.61 and the Button sold for 114.56 A BRILLIANT result and a big thank you to the Buyers and also Adam Aaronson for donating the weight and Ray for donating the Button.....
I think the button is winging it's way to Australia.
