Just bought this lovely pair of candlesticks on Ebay (wrongly described as Bagley) I believe they match the Reich tray on Pamela's website ? They are lovely... you can use the pics if you like Pamela ;D
-
These are in fact lovely and obviously rare; I managed to find a single one in green meanwhile and later got a small lidded dish in amber: quite a funky set now ;D
The candlestick alone is item # 9005 in Reich's catalogue of 1934 - the whole set or just the tray (http://pressglas-pavillon.de/toilettenservice/05044.html) # 9023
Pleased to make also use of this photo, Angela - THANK YOU :-*

I didn't realise these weren't very common. I have some somewhere upstairs... all my pieces are currently in boxes in the smallest bedroom as my son's moved back home from uni and reclaimed his much bigger bedroom, so I can't find a thing! ;D
-
Glad you liked them...I keep finding Reich glass at the moment...it seems to leap out at me saying buy me !! ;D At least that's what I tell my husband. I have photographed my entire collection now and hope to get them on the Glass Gallery soon !! ;)
-
Ohhh I look forward to seeing them. :)
-
I see someone is selling the large tray , the trinket dish and one candlestick on ebay its in amber or I would bid on the trays!!
-
Very pretty! I missed out on a whole uranium set on Ebay recently. :( Also look forward to seeing your pics Simba. :)

Here are the pics of the amber pieces from the ebay listing:
Tray 11 x 9 inches
Candlestick 6 inches tall
Trinket tray 3 inches x ?
Does anyone have an image of the trinket pots to share with us, please?
(Permission for re-use of these image on the GMB granted by just-nice-thingz )

Only a catalogue image so far, Fred. :(
-
Anne do you have a link to the catalogue image?
Full green set for sale on Etsy by the way,

Brilliant! Thank-you Anne. :)

Is there a GMB members who is also an Etsy member?
If so, would it be possible for them to seek permission, please, from the Etsy lister to save a file copy of their images of the green Reich set for permanent posting on the board ? - links to Etsy & eBay have a habit of dissapearing over time.
They could also possibly take the opportunity to attribute the Reich set for the Etsy lister and point them to Anne's site, The GMB trinket sets section and Pamela's site at the same time.
-
On reflection, I've actually joined Etsy as a member, and have now requested permission from the seller of the green Reich set for re-use of her images on the board. I've attributed the set for her and I've also given her the link to this discussion about the set.
Thank you, Jayne , for pointing my way to Etsy - so many undocumented treasures.
There are lots of unusual trinket sets (or parts thereof) on the major auction sites, and I am quite happy to request permission for re-use of eBay or Etsy's lister's images for posting on GMB - what it is to have some spare time now I'm semi-retired !!
In each case, I will briefly explain the purpose of our deliberations, stress the non-commercial side of the whole thing, and give them links to GMB, Anne's site, Pamela's site etc. as appropriate. I will also thank image 'donors' for their permission, and send follow-up messages keeping them informed of possible IDs (even if it's just a Mystery Set or an Unknown).
If any GMB member wants me to seek permission for images from other sources then simply email me via GMB and I'll do my best.
Every single potential 'image donor' I have asked so far seems to have been enthusiastic about the Trinket Sets projects, delighted to have been pointed to the various linked sites, and over the moon when their sets have been ID'd.

Fred, that's excellent, and thank you so much for volunteering to take this on, it will make a huge difference to the number of images and ID's we can offer. 8)

You're welcome Fred. :)
