This is a lovely rose pink colour.
Comprises
1. large bowl 24 cms wide at top and stands 10cs high
2. 5 matching small dishes 12 cms wide at top and stand 5cms high
There is an oval dish the picture which I bought together with the above but dont feel its part of the set.
its in there for reference and I can deal with it separately when confirmed.
The base of this extra 7th has a different pattern on the base bt the look although possibly a different design is similar I think.
All the set dishes have four feet with four sides...the rim of each dish has a fan like edge ad the base has a flower cut pattern in dented with the middle stamen(sic) also indented when its turned over.
Any ideas who the maker is please
Thanks
Nicky

Hi Nicky, have you had a look at Pamelas Pressglas Pavillion?
http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/index2.html
Make a big mug of tea, sit back and enjoy going through it...enjoy!!
Rosie. :)
Added: Looks like it might be 'Prismen' by Brockwiz 1941. Scroll down the bowls section and see if you agree. It looks pretty similar to me.
Still have that cuppa and enjoy browsing the best pressed glass collection ever!!

Jolly good Nicky... every time I look there is more and more listed... such a wonderful reference, and so kind that Pamela shares it so generously. We are very lucky.
The oval bowl I have seen so often, and somewhere deep in the back of my mind is the name of it...aaaagh!!
Rosie. :)
Added: Nicky, I think the oval bowl is Sowerby, 'Tyneside'. ... Fingers crossed!!

Yes, I'm sure that is correct BFG... I found it in Pamelas section and added it, but it is the same as the link you have given... Lucky Nicky, got all the answers in a couple of hours... Wish I did!!

Heh heh Nicky, I was into teapots of tea then as well!!
Glad your finds are identified... you just need the 6th bowl to complete the set and you can have us all round for jelly and trifle!!
-
Im cataloging..
The large bowl comes in 21 or 24cm size.
Depending where I measure mine from and mine is . ie diagonal = 24cms or horizontal its only 21cms
the catalogue numbers give a ref for bowls in 24 or 21 which is mine
-
I would think horizontal unless it is a television!!!

Thanks
Rosie :)
