Black cat & lantern on stoppered decanter.

Suggestions as to origin? I was thinking Germany or Austria myself, but could be just anything.

Gorgeous, shape is not uncommon in French and American catalogues.

Yes of course I saw those - the bubble one is very similar, including the lenthwise seam and the underside. I am wondering if this could be the "organische Glasfarbe" introduced by Degussa in 1960 that Mr. Mauerhoff referred to in the Schmetterling thread??
