Webb 'Bristol blue' rolling pin to go with the two decanters, bowl, milk jug, cider tankard, candle sticks, rinser and lidded pot, please tell me that's the lot ::) ;D ;D
-
You don't yet have a top hat, a yard of ale or a massive pipe... ;D
-
Please tell me you're joking :o :o :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D
-
;) I don't honestly know!
But stick your top hat on, grab hold of a yard of ale and suck on your pipe to recover from the shock. :-*
-
that's fantastic Keith..I would not have the perseverance to make a proper collection of anything - apart from Glass 'generic' lol.

Phew! got me going there Sue,it's taken me nearly three years, should I now go for the other colours :o
Thanks m,it's probably easier collecting Webbs for me as there seems to be quite a bit still around the area, some of the pieces came from just a couple of miles from Stourbridge, ;D ;D
-
Well done Keith, lets see a picture of the collection together then!
-
Is there a facility for putting cold water into the rolling pin?
(ever mindful of the practicalities of kitchen equipment... ::) )
-
No hole for water,just for show I presume,already got a practical rolling pin,a wooden one,pic's..... ;D ;D
-
should I now go for the other colours
Oh, definitely! There's amethyst, green, pink, amber, orange with pink spots... ;D
-
Must get the orange with pink spots! ;D ;D,p.s there is an interesting article on Chances in the Black Country Bugle (todays edition)
-

Edit: a bit off-topic, so perhaps the thread needs splitting?

Hmmm, what comes with decanters and rinsers?? Or, have I missed something :o
Nigel ;)
-
The wine?
-
C'mon Sue, wine in a rinser?? Oh, I see what you mean.... Slurp :P :)
-
No point messing around with fiddly little glasses, is there? ;)
-
HaHaHaHaHa............wonderfully put Sue ;) Over to you Keith...............
-
I'll add my admiration as well Keith - nice collection, and it would seem that blue must be the most common of the three colours, I've not been aware of seeing any of the others although they may well appear on ebay for all I know. I've four so far, so a little way to go to reach your full set. Odd that Webb didn't produce at least a rummer to complete the set - after all there are two styles of decanter.
-
Thanks Paul,
Nigel,I've never seen or heard about any glasses being part of the set or have a I missed something,ps,enjoying your 'Art Deco to Post Modernism' at the moment ;D ;D
-
oh, tut tut...........no mention of poor Ms. Hayhurst ;) ;)
-
Oops,apologies ::) ::) ;D ;D
