This is a beauty, it has a soft indented pontil like the Scottish weights, but despite checking out all the Scottish sites I can find, I can't find it so I assume it is from somewhere else....

I think it's German. I'll probably remember the name in the middle of the night. Christiane Waldrich would know. :D

Or how about French ... 1980s ... Robert Pierini? Sibylle Jargstorf shows an interesting weight with "some broad similarities" on page 199 of her book, Paperweights.
But if it is German, perhaps it's Christinenhütte?

I had another look and I'm not so sure about Udo. It would need someone who really knew his work to confirm. Could also be Glasshouse, but again not sure.
