I've just acquired a cut Walsh perfume, fitted with an EPNS pump type atomiser with a silver decorative collar, identical to Reynolds fig. 90 (ii), but with a different cut pattern and possibly with different decoration on the top of the collar.
The collar is hallmarked on the inside (Birmingham, 1954*) and also carries the punched inscription on the outside "MADE IN ENGLAND". The maker's mark looks like an upright equilateral triangle with rounded corners. Along the top right side are the letters or "LI" "LT", presumably part of "LTD" which would fit nicely.
The atomiser carries a maker's mark on the side of the dome-shaped part at the top. This is a punched horizontal diamond shape containing the relief lettering "V&c" or "V&C".
Any ideas? My books don't help.

* Before someone points it out, I know that Walsh closed in 1951 — I have the presentation tray that the MD's wife gave to the MD on the sad day. However, if you are making atomisers, you don't order your bottles one at a time, but in large numbers to benefit from quantity discounts. So the discrepancy of dates of what could be as little as just over two years is, in my opinion, of no particular significance.
