Title: Pink and blue basket
Post by: auliya on January 08, 2013, 01:51:04 AM
I am hoping someone can give me some information on this basket, it measures 20cms high by 20cms wide, the blue opalescent edge glows pale green under UV. Thanks in advance

Cheers
Auliya

Any thoughts as to when in the 20th C or who the maker might be? I haven't seen anything like it from Fenton, but they did make a huge range over a long period, so that doesn't mean much.

thanks

The opalescence and fluted edge bring Duncan Miller to mind, but I can't say I've seen these colors.

If its from the U.S. then its from a studio not a mass production manufacturer. I would venture its Murano of some type.
