Title: Handkerchief Vase ID: Muurlan Lasi, Finland
Post by: RAY on November 08, 2004, 12:13:05 AM
like mine, ive had this one some years now, 3.5" high the glass is thin and when flicked, it sounds like you are flicking an empty bakedbean tin, the trailing around the rim is quite thick compared to the glass, the base has been ground, this way that way up way and anyother way, i did have the big brother but he decided to jump off the top shelf

Muurlan Lasi, Finland, made right at the end of the last century - i.e. 5 years ago. Comes in yellow, blue and red and is not inspired by Aalto but by the Venini Fazzoletto (handkerchief) of the fifties.
