Hi again 2nd of my table top sale purchases of this morning, I have no idea on this one it stands 3.5" tall. Thanks again in advance.

Not expert enough to be certain, but I think it is a nicely made Chinese Pwt. Those ground, but not polished, bases seem to be typical of much of their work.

Having now sourced a copy of Pat Reilly's book I'm wondering if this could be by Midsummer glass? It has some similarities to the one illustrated on page 55.

The bottom would fit, but I've only seen Midsummer's apples and pears.

According to the book it was a very rare shape & method for them, I can't reproduce the picture of course and cannot find any images on the web. Hoping someone here may know a bit more.

You could try asking Dillon Clarke; she should know

Tried e mailing Dillon Clarke but no reply, anyone know of any further reference material on Midsummer Glass?

Anyone have any other info or pointers for references to Midsummer glass,Never heard back from Dillon Clarke.
It still seems very similar to the item in Pat Reilly's book to me and I would like to try and confirm.
Nick?
