This is another vase given to me by my grandmother. Can someone help identify. The only marking on it is on the bottom, U S A. It is one of my favorite vases.

sorry - I wasn't thinking.

Hi
It looks something like the products of a company called McCoy...and their pieces are both common and modern so unfortunately I doubt if its going to be worth above 40 to 60 USD.
The main thing is you like it so dont get bent up by the price.
I'm sure you should be able to confirm this elsewheres on the web via Google for instance.
Regards
Gareth

PS, can anyone tell me why all the pictures that I post are so durn BIG?

:D I'd like to know about the size of pictures too!
They're small on my computer when I do them there, I never know what it's going to turn into, size-wise when I send something somewhere else! :?

Thank you both for the information. At least I have a place to start looking. I am interested in the price, but not overly concerned about it. The vase was given to me, so I really just wanted to know a little more about it, so that when I pass it down, I can give a little information along with it, other than, "this use to belong to my grandmother". You know how it is, you start thinking about those things. Anyway, I have been trying to locate a forum for porcelain/china but can't find one, so I appreciate you sharing the information that you have. Thanks again,

Sue and Linda - and anyone else with "surprisingly" big pictures,
Maybe you could start a new thread covering this topic. It's not really something that can be easily answered without a bit more info and then probably some further comments and questions.
It would be helpful if you could kick off the topic with a brief description of which program you use to originally view (and possibly manipulate) your images in. And also let us know the processes you go through to get the images onto your pc and up to the point of loading them into Tinypic.

Hi! I collect glass handvases,I have 60 of them in all colours & sizes.Hope to get to 100 of them one day!Anyway, the pottery one is Mc Coy.It's nice,& in fact the pottery ones are much easier to find than glass. When I'm searching for glass ones online,a lot of pottery ones turn up,which is how I know about this one.Enjoy it because of it's sentimental value & nice shape.Linda, your Fenton topaz/vaseline handvase is so cute.I have one just like it,& it's one of my faves. All the best,Marinka.
