Title: Strombergshyttan Blue Etched Eskimo Sculpture, Two Signatures
Post by: Ohio on December 21, 2007, 04:25:19 AM
Hi. quick question. I picked up this piece & was wondering approximately when it was produced. It's
4 ¾ “Height, 5” width, 4” depth. Strombergshyttan Iceberg sculpture, T222/C1071, Signed with two signatures, R. Strand (Rune Strand) designer & L. Swalm (possibly engraver). The second signature is not the best script I've seen so perhaps it's not Swalm, but it's my best estimate. Thanks, Ken

The mountain is the Matterhorn by the looks of it. Not helpful in IDing the glass, but a useful sales pitch :)

Nice piece.

Hi this might sound daft but are you sure the second 'signature' doesn't in fact say 'Sweden' as this is common on Strombergshyttan pieces.
