Can you point me in the direction of instructions on posting a picture? Thanks...I've been reading posts and you are all so knowlegable about paperweights!
Thanks,

two more pictures:

This weight is more round than it looks, but when I resized the pictures, it flattened it a little.
Do any of you know anything about what this might be? I'm going to buy it from a friend but would like to know something about it. Thanks!

Hi,
Congrats, the pics work! The hole makes it look like a candle holder rather than a paperweight or am I mistaken?
Kind regards
-
I thought it looked like a large bubble?
-
Hi,
Not sure, pic 7106 looks like a cone shaped hole in it BUT if it is a bubble it looks similar (but not the same) to ebay nr 220113237014 (please use the search boxes at the top of the page to go to this item).
Kind regards,

I think the bottom is all wrong for Whitefriars.
-
I agree fully it is flat and not concave, just saying that it looked similar...maybe a copy from the big C?
-
I am beginning to think so.

Thanks for the comparison pic...does look similar, but on mine the base isn't polished. It is a smooth top. She said she bought it at an estate sale and it was old. She is as curious as I am as to what it is. I think it's pretty, either way. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it!
