Title: Christmas Present
Post by: glasswizard on December 19, 2005, 09:50:57 AM
I got this as a Christmas present (early I know, but they insisted)

Its eight inches across and I love the spider web effect. Any ideas on maker? Thanks Terry

The only effect like that I've seen was on the outside of a Seguso "sleeping mexican" bowl, maybe a clue as to origin, but might be one on the Murano page for Laura to take a look.

This piece actually looks more like a Fratelli Toso piece than Seguso.

Terry that link leads to this for me, you need to use the link below the image that ends like this one:

Frank, you now have me confused. The link I put in takes me directly to the image of the piece in question.

I have a group shot from your link. The URL at the top points to the position within an album. But because everyone can choose the sequence of display, this gets stored in their cookie or profile, they will get to the image that is in that position in their sequence.

You can try changing the sequence, the options are Title, Filename, Date or Position and then you will see a different image for your link.

The link that is given below the image represents the actual database location of your image and thus always returns the same picture instead of one relative to the sequence within an album.

Hope that is clear  might not be 100% accurate but it is how I observe it to work.
