Hi All
I'm new to this forum, which I found whilst trying to identify this vase. I thought it might be Scandinavian, but now I'm not so sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.......

I have one (or two) of these and am confident they are modern Chinese. They are also surprisingly and bewilderingly (is that an adjective?) well made...

:-X ?

"Bewilderingly" is a very good adjective, Ivo. :)

Ok, let me be the smart-arse, who says ´adverb´... 8)

Er, well, I do.... ;D

Doh, :-[ you are right, Dirk. "well made" being (operatively) a verb.
Bewilderingly "good" would have been an adjective.

Not sure I was starting a linguistic or a grammatical discussion here - I just had an answer to the query. But while we're at it - we call these beasts DVBs - dubbelverbonden bepaling - which can function both as an adjective and as an adverbium. "She fell bewilderingly up the slope" vs. "her dress was bewilderingly plain". Now I'm almost bemused....

I'm pretty sure these vases are TK Maxx I have seen a couple on Ebay listed as Cabana By Ludvig Löfgren (Kosta Boda)
