Good morning and thank you Ken. From searching I thought it could be Caprice but looking at the other pieces, the shape looked a little off. I think I looked at every piece of Caprice on the internet and haven't seem one like this.
Maybe because it's an older? The silver around it's edge is very thick. I know nothing about glass but I could tell it was a good  quality when I found it.

I got a reply from Mark Nye over at NCC last night :

"Your piece is the Cambridge Caprice line and is the No. 171 Cloverleaf.  It could be used as a candy dish, nut dish, or similar use as a serving piece.  There was also a heart, club, diamond and spade in this Caprice line grouping as well as a two part diamond.

The "opaque" portion is the treatment Cambridge called Alpine, an acid frosting of selecting portions of a piece of Caprice.

The silver was not applied by Cambridge.  A second company would have purchased the piece from Cambridge, applied the silver decoration and then sold the piece under their name.  Without their label, it is hard to tell who that company might have been.

It would date to the period 1936-1945."

Thanks again! LG
