Title: Beehive Like Tumbler

Looks like a beehive to me, but the pattern under that name looks different. No idea who made it, when, or name of pattern.
measures: 5 7/8" tall

I've no idea what it is, but are those ribs on the inside of the vase, or the outside?

The ribs are convex on the outside, and concave on the inside. Definetly Anchor Hocking, I know that now, but need the pattern name and circa.

Closest I could find was 'block optic'. Have you tried www.replacements.com?

Just a thought, it's not this cocktail shaker with the lid missing, is it? If so, it will be the later mark.

No I have got two patterns but do not have photos of them, maybe you do.

Manhattan & Park Avenue both by Anchor Hocking. If you do, could you please tell me the years of production?  I appreciate all your help.

Not  Manhattan(1938-1943, ref: Collectors' Enc. Dep. Glass, Florence)
http://www.justglass-online.com/shard2.html -Manhattan has angled ribs and ball feet. Not yours, especially because of the ball feet.

Not Park Avenue (1987 onwards, same ref). http://www.hillhousewares.com/category6maker20pattern397.html which has the same angled ribs, by which I mean that the cross section of the wall forms a zig-zag pattern. Click to see the full sized image to see what I mean. Again, yours seems to me to have a different profile -- more like ribbons or bands.

I'm thinking Anchor Hocking "Celebrate", which is still being made now (and was probably inspired by the earlier patterns). http://www.anchorhocking.com/products.asp
Note the shape of the cocktail shaker, which seems to match the profile of your tumbler, and the form of the ridges, which form bands in the same way as yours.

Need someone else to have a look to concur on this.

Cathy you would make a great detectvie. Celebrate shaker it is. Looks exactly the same as my piece. I would have never found it without you.
