I agree but just in case it leads to something else.

Here are some of their archive pieces - their signature is always very neat though and has always been so from what I can find:

In Brecon a few weeks ago and had a nose in the window of Gate Glassworks, think it was a Tuesday and it was closed - they will open by appointment Monday to Wednesday though. Some very interesting glass being made there, the items I liked are not shown in this link but there is a whole series of bottles like Suzy's:

Greener first lion trademark 1875-85, could be an unregistered pattern, lucky you got a trademark, there’s lots of Greener items in the gallery. Mike

I struggle to see much of a connection there, however, in these searches it always pays to keep an open mind!

I'm not really sure there is any connection here but have you checked Sanders and Wallace?  Cannot see how that signature could be linked but there is a vase on ebay - too long link and don't know how to shorten - that has canes and a similarish way of signing.  I don't think there's a link but there might be ... shortened to initials would be AS and DW

on ebay now as  Sanders & Wallace Vintage Glass Vase 1984

That's a superb colour and so unusual.  Really lovely to have in a collection.  I suspect it's not a colour easily found.

I hate when that happens when visiting an area. So annoying.

Solved this one.

Maker is Kathryn Roberts, based in Brecon, Wales.

I might well take it along next time I go as I know where her shop is (wanted to go in last time but as Brecon is closed most of the week, I missed out) If you do ever want to go to Brecon (it is lovely), I recommend not going on a Monday or Tuesday as most shops, etc are shut.  Many are shut on Wednesday too.  Lots of confused tourists wandering about!

It only has vague similarities admittedly, but it reminded me of one I have like this one - Poschinger:

Mine is just like this one though, so I don't know if they made any variations on a theme as it were - i.e. plain red stripe and no bubbles type thing like yours.  It might be worth investigating further though.

Picked this half pint mug up today as it looked quite interesting.
My knowledge of pressed glass is not that great.
I have a couple of pressed glass books but could not see an image of my glass or a date.
I would be interested to hear any comments.
The height is 110mm, four and a quarter inches.
It seems to be a three part mould and the body is a bit out of kilter with the base.
Thanks,
Tim

Check here Greg:

Brown vases on fourth shelf down left hand side - there is one the same shape and I think with the spike bubble but shorter?
