Title: ID for unusual lobed vase
Post by: Alton11 on November 14, 2012, 01:24:31 AM
Looks like Chribska perhaps, but have not seen this pattern with the thick round top.. Very heavy with irregularly shaped base.
Thanx for looking.

Hi, I don't believe your vase is from Chribska glassworks, or Czech. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Pics not big enough to make out much detail. Upper part of interior seems intriguing, is rim cut? More pics please. Agree Czech not likely.

Not sure how to tell if rim is cut....although it is uneven and thicker in some parts. some better pics I hope. Vase has 12 lobes
6 high and six shorter towards the base.

pic too small to tell but looks uncut, has upper interior a light coloured layer or is that just an optical illusion?
